DC Home Improvements. For those of you looking for any type of home remodeling, you absolutely need to consider DC Home Improvements. Even before hiring Darrin Cornbluth to rebuild my deck, I saw the incredible work he had done on a kitchen (and one day will do mine), the meticulous attention to detail, and incredible eye for style. Once I learned he also did decks, I asked him to look at mine. Not only was he the most reasonable estimate of the five I got, he was also completely transparent about possible unknown expenses that none of the other contractors told me about. Very realistic expenses, such as if the foundation beams were rotted, like the railings were. He communicated well with my HOA to make sure that all of their specifications and requirements were met. He even found the materials at a much more reasonable price than the ones I had found myself at Home Depot and Lowe's. That alone saved me a tremendous amount of money. He got the job done in a timely fashion, and communicated with me every step of the way. I have worked with some excellent contractors before, but Darrin will now be the first person I call for any future home-improvement I have.

Darrin is doing my kitchen right now and I can't recommend him enough. He is conscientious, and dependable and does a great job.

I can speak on behalf of Darrin, as one year ago he remodeled our laundry room and powder room. He is honest, reasonable and responsible. And he died great work. We have had so many compliments on his work and are very happy with the results.

Darrin completed a full kitchen renovation for us that consisted of removing walls, taking everything down to the studs and basically building it back up again. He was so attentive to detail and worked with us every step of the way to get exactly what we wanted. His prices are fair and the work was fantastic. We will continue to use Darrin in the future for more home renovations and projects!
